Addition/Subtraction: Matrices must have the same dimensions. Add/subtract corresponding elements.
Multiplication: Columns of A must equal rows of B. Result element [i,j] is the dot product of row i of A and column j of B.
Determinant: A scalar value computed from a square matrix, used to determine invertibility.
Transpose: Rows become columns and columns become rows.
